Your safety for us, is clearly our top priority and we have designed the operation of the Uni Island residential complex in such a way that you feel safe at all times!
Don't be alarmed, Heraklion is a peaceful city and you have nothing to worry about. Especially the neighborhoods where our buildings are located, although at the city center, are quite areas with art, dance, martial arts schools, pharmacies and all kind of businesses around. When you travel to a foreign country though, there is always a sense of fear for the unknown and we totally understand that, especially if you are having family vacation with young children. Thus, closed circuit CCTV with security cameras operates 24 hours a day in the outdoor areas so that it is clear who enters or even approaches the complex, making you feel safer.
Also, the key you will receive is in the form of a card! The locks of the suites are electronic with keys that cannot be copied at locksmiths and offer extra security.
The Uni Island manager is your man!
Cameras and machines are good, but there are times when you need a responsible person next to you for an hour of need, right?
The person that will be there, in case something unexpected happens (e.g. you lost your key, some damage was done to the apartment, etc.), is the Uni Island manager who will stand by you as a member of your family. You can always ask him for directions, advice and anything else you may need.
The manager's working hours are from 09.00 to 17.00 from Monday to Friday, but you will also have access to his mobile phone so that you can contact him for something really urgent whenever needed!
Technical team, ready for action
In case there is any damage in your suite, for health and safety reasons, you should not deal with the problem. You just let us know and we will arrange with the Uni Island technical team consisting of professionals, to repair the damage.

Unfortunately, Covid-19 virus came into our lives for good and made us all deal with the issue of cleanliness and disinfection of premises in a completely different way.
Therefore, Uni Island complies with all official sanitary rules in public areas and of course urges all tenants to follow them very strictly until this pandemic is finally a bad memory!
